Dyeing

Colors change as quick as fashion. But their brilliance and fastness must never change. Besides the right dyes, the optimum dyeing auxiliaries are paramount. No need for you to experiment; we've done that for you.

The process requirements in dyeing are countless. Starting from the three basic principles - i.e. the dye either reacts with the fiber, penetrates it or adheres to its surface - the spectrum splits into a multitude of individual processes. Practically every fiber - polyester, polyamide, nylon, perlon, polypropylene, polyacrylonitrile fibers, dralon, viscose, cotton, linen, ramie, wool, cashmere, camel and lama hair - needs its own, self-contained dye system. There are hardly any overlaps, and even these yield poor results. So each dyeing process needs its own systematic combination of chemicals with differently adjusted parameters such as pH, temperature profile, and time. And that's not all: Depending on the fiber grade, the various and fundamentally different processes - for cross-wound, knitted or woven goods - also require completely different machinery.

Competence in all Fiber Grades & Machine Technologies

Chromatex offers the appropriate system for each dyeing process, tuned to your specific machine technology - for trouble-free processing and brilliant, colorfast results. Our competence is a key success factor in your quality and efficiency equation. With sound advice and solution-oriented service, we help you to obtain results that will meet market needs and improve the efficiency and quality of your processes, and hence your competitiveness.

Taking the Froth Out of Polyester Dyeing

In polyester dyeing, foam-free operation in advanced equipment is still a challenge for any dyer. With special products like Creasonil from Chromatex all add-ons become feasible with all types of machines. Our Diprosol - PCL assures you perfect control in dispersing dyes. The result? Maximum uniformity of dyeing, no problems with oligomers, greater efficiency through less need for redyeing.

Elastane without Streaks, Crease Marks

When dyeing elastane fiber mixes, Crease – OFF and Creasonil – NTC help you achieve streak-free, even results without damaging the fibers. Our running crease inhibitors do an excellent job in all machines and on all types of fiber. With Creasonil-NTC, you can run even sensitive fabrics trouble-free on winch backs or jets, without restricting the action of other chemicals in the dye bath.

Edges Stress-Free Wool Coloring

Wool is a particularly tricky fiber to dye. High temperatures and the use of acids in wool dyeing normally result in wool weight loss due to leaching out of proteins. The wool loses its luster, its natural character, its stability and elasticity. Problems like these are now past history: With protein products like our wool protecting agent Crease - OFF, you can restore lost proteins and prevent quality losses.
